After a meeting in the autumn of 2023 with Morgado Country Club boss Mr Jorge Papa, John has decided to stay on long term as the Head Pro of the Morgado and Alamos courses.

The resort owners are planning to make a major invest into the infrastructure including the opening of a 5 star hotel.

John has great personal pleasure to work further with Mr Papa, who outside of their business partnership have been a good friend for over 30 years.

Alexandra is also very passionate about being involved in the new projects and living the whole year round in the sun and by the sea and promoting our two top championship courses.

Home of the Portugal PGA Tour Open 2017,2018 and 2019.

Rated as an inland links Morgado is a 6.399.00 meter long course with wide fairways compensated with no less than 164 bunkers to avoid.

The greens are among the best in the Algarve holding their excellent consistancy the whole year round.

Alamos Golf Course

18 hole golf course Par 71

One of the most beautiful natural courses in Europe.

Playing at 5.640.00 meters long, Alamos is formed into the local nature of the region. The course is in character totally different to Morgado giving the resort the rare advantage of having two courses of diverse challenges.
